Service is provided on a set schedule whenever possible (weather permitting), with care decisions made based on seasonal conditions and the long-term health of your lawn. We also avoid working in conditions that could harm turf health, such as soft ground, extreme heat, or frost.

Step 1: Crabgrass Preventative + Fertilizer

Applied in early spring (March-April) for fast greening and to prevent crabgrass. This pre-emergent fertilizer also provides a weed barrier, killing weeds as they germinate from the seeds that have lain dormant in your lawn all winter. If they are eliminated now, they won’t become a problem later this spring and summer.

Step 2: Weed Control + Fertilizer

Applied in late spring (April-June) no less than 30 days after crabgrass preventer is applied. This application kills dandelions, chickweeds, knotweed, spurge, and many other broadleaf weeds. It delivers a long-lasting feeding without burning for a stronger, greener lawn.

Optional Step: Grub, Insect, Flee and Tick Control

Added to the program to prevent unwanted insects.

Step 3: Summer Fertilizer + Weed Control

Applied in summer (June-July) it feeds and strengthens grass during heat and drought.

Step 4: Winterizer Fertilizer

Applied in fall (August-November) this step helps protects lawns from winter stress and promotes root development. It encourages earlier spring green-up and thicker grass.

Hydro-seeding is an efficient, high quality, and inexpensive method of seeding a lawn. It’s the process of combining a mixture called a “slurry” (seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil amendments, and water) in a Hydro-seeder tank, and then applying that mixture to the intended surface using high pressure. The hydro-seeder keeps the slurry evenly mixed. This causes speedy seed germination and stops erosion in its tracks! In the best scenarios, a new lawn will start to sprout in only a week, but in most cases, it will take 2-3 weeks to germinate. You will typically see sprouting in 1 to 2 weeks.

Newly installed grass or seed can take several weeks to establish, with visible growth often appearing within the first few weeks. Full establishment depends on watering, weather conditions, soil preparation, and ongoing care. Patience and proper maintenance are key to long-term results.
